Errors Entering Data Into Web Forms |

Required Data Fields The loan submission forms use two types of Required data fields. The first type uses a dropdown list. The default value is "--REQUIRED--". The other required field is indicated by an asterisk (*) symbol. If you fail to enter data into a field indicated with an asterisk the form will not be submitted and you will get the following error: (Required) Entering Numbers Do not use Dollar signs or commas when entering loan amounts. If you use them you will get the following error: (Must be a number) Entering Dates Some fields will only accept data in the form of a date. Dates must be typed in the following format: 04/15/2001. If you don't know an exact date, use the the correct month and year and use the 15th day of the month. Dates entered in any other format will get the following error: (Must be a date) If a date field does not apply to your loan scenario, leave it blank. |
